The Basic Food Safety Course is mandatory for all food handlers and personnel working in the food industry . At Skill Bridge, we offer Dubai Municipality approved qualifications customized for your needs.
This is a half-day (3 hour) course that all food handlers are required to take. Participants will be provided with a solid understanding of basic hygiene principles, regardless of language barriers and level of education.
This course is designed for personnel working in the catering, hospitality, or manufacturing industry, specifically involved in food processing, food catering, school kitchens, and/or hospital kitchens. This is a full-day programme (6 hours).
All food businesses are required to have a Person-in-Charge (PIC) on-site for each shift of work. The PIC is responsible for managing food safety within their business during their shift, and for ensuring that the employees under their supervision are following effective policies and procedures for maintaining food safety.
This course is designed for PICs in establishments that are not directly involved in food processing. This includes food transportation, food retail services that do not require processing of food, and other non food service sectors.
This is a more advanced version of the PIC course, and is intended for PICs in buisnesses involved in food services. This includes cooking, catering, and processing services.
HACCP (Hazard analysis critical control point), is a food safety management system which identifies, evaluates and controls hazards that are significant for food safety. Dubai Municipality mandates all food businesses to implement a HACCP based Food Safety Management System
This is a basic course that will introduce the participants to the principles of HACCP and how to use them to ensure food safety within the business.
In this program, participants will be made to understand the practical aspects of HACCP implementation. The end result is effective implementation of the HACCP principles with minimal documentation and record-keeping. The course will also cover Dubai Municipality's requirements according to the Food Code and help your business achieve an A grade.
This course is designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in conducting internal audits for HACCP.
